What’s Good in your Hood Video Series
‘What’s Good in your Hood’ is a Bring it On initiative designed for our students to share knowledge and highlight good things that are happening in their neighbourhoods with the hope to inspire them to get involved with projects that can help others.
Essentially, we want to know ‘What’s good in your Hood’ – captured and illustrated through video. Each video submission earns BIOD Teams 10 points to their overall dance score.
The Child Development Institute is a Disability Institute and a support organisation for young children with disabilities, located in Northmead and they offer a Play Base Program for Children with disabilities.
They also offer one on one therapy tailored to each child.
Whats Good In Northmead is the “Childs Development Institute”
At the Child Development Institute they offer specialised Early Intervention programs based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), an evidence-based intervention for children on the Autism Spectrum and with Developmental Delays.
Their programs are designed to give children the skills they need to lead an independent life and to fully participate within their family and community.
